User Research Summary
I had a casual conversation with people about the bureaucracy process in Indonesia and understand their pain points and needs. The problem is identified during the conversation (indirect interview). Most interviewees said that the fact that they need to physically copy some documents to apply for something is irritating. They also voiced how confused they are with some different rules here and there.
Pain Points
Manual Process:
There is no existing unified application that helps people to apply for essential documents

Time:
The manual processes and different rules, for most people, is time-consuming

Final Thoughts
“The application is so simple from start to finish. With its current feature, I believe it will help us with bureaucracy so much. Looking forward to its enhancement in the future.”
As there’s no significant difference between the low-fidelity prototype and the high-fidelity prototype, the idea of making this app is already on point. And the usability study, feedbacks, critics, and suggestions, especially from the government’s experts are definitely needed to enhance the application feature by doing some iterations.
